Rashad
Bonsu

This is Rashad’s first year on the robotics team! Rashad joined the design and build sub-teams. Since it is his first year on the team, he is looking forward to being able to expand his mind. Rashad wants to be able to learn as many things as possible that will help him in the future of becoming an engineer. For his time spent on the robotics team, he’d have to say his favorite thing about it is how there’s this family feeling everyday when they come for meetings and work. Everyone is all cool with each other and they all work to help find the best possible solutions for our robot to win competitions. They’re building, communicating, and presenting ideas for the better. And then they all eat lunch at the same time. Man, it’s like macaroni with the chicken strips. Everything about it is just all hard work and good vibes as a big family and team. Rashad’s never really been in an after school program and he wanted to join the Robotics Team because it would offer a lot. It would be great for him as he could learn many new skills and be able to expand my mind and thinking. Rashad knew he would also have a great level of self-esteem after learning many new things. His hobbies include playing video games, watching TV & news, reading books, soccer, shopping, drawing, cooking, cleaning, and babysitting. Rashad is interested in baking, machining, building, woodworking, learning different languages, mastering Spanish, learning how to build a robot and becoming an engineer. After graduating from AHS, Rashad wants to start off with attending college and pursuing a career in engineering. He’s still deciding and planning on other things.
