Brady
Ambrose

Brady Ambrose has been on the robotics team for two years, and is a part of the build sub-team. Brady’s favorite part of robotics is the fact that we can all work together to make a robot. He joined the team because he likes to build and learn new things. Brady’s hobbies include fishing, hunting, and gaming. After graduating from AHS, Brady plans on joining the military.

Shane
Conlin

Shane Conlin has been on the robotics team for two years, is a part of the Build sub-team and is a Design sub-team Lead. Shane’s favorite part about robotics is working as a team to achieve a common, complex goal from scratch. He joined the robotics team to pursue his passion for engineering in a hands-on, collaborative way. Shane’s hobbies are 3D modeling and community service volunteering. After graduating from AHS, Shane plans to continue his engineering studies throughout college and then eventually into the field to solve real-world problems.

Brandon
Diaz

Brandon Diaz has been on the robotics team for two years and is a part of the Build sub-team. Brandon’s favorite part about robotics is gaining knowledge he can from the program and mentors, as well as the experiences he has made on the team. Brandon joined the robotics team in order to see if engineering was the right fit for him. Other than robotics, he plays soccer and tennis. Brandon’s hobbies include playing soccer, even when he isn’t playing for the school or a team. He also enjoys playing video games and hanging out with friends. After graduating from AHS, Brandon plans on attending college for engineering or possibly West Point to serve in the military.

Melissa
Domen

Melissa Domen has been on the robotics team for two years, is a part of the Business sub-team, and is a Business sub-team Lead. Melissa’s favorite part about robotics is going to competitions and getting to know the other students on the team. She joined the team to learn more about business and marketing. Outside of robotics, Melissa also participates in the Math Honors Society, Varsity Girls Golf, Jazz Band, Leo Club, Business Academy (BASE), Nutshell (Editor and Writer), Yearbook, Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy, and Girl Scouts. Her hobbies include playing the piano and clarinet. Melissa is currently working on her Girl Scout Gold Award Project where she coaches the Robo Girls, a Girl Scout FIRST LEGO League team in Allentown/Robbinsville. After graduating from AHS, Melissa plans on attending college.

Daniel
Moehringer

Daniel Moehringer has been on the robotics team for two years, is a part of the Build sub-team and is a Design sub-team Lead. Daniel’s favorite part about robotics is the build season. He joined the robotics team to fulfill his interest in robotics. Daniel is also a part of the Academic Team, the Basketball Travel Team, and Cross Country. Outside of robotics, he enjoys playing basketball. After graduating from AHS, Daniel plans on going straight from high school to the NBA draft.

Jacob
Normand

Jacob Normand has been on the robotics team for two years and is a part of the Build sub-team. His favorite part about robotics is being able to have an opportunity to see and be apart of the application of STEM. Jacob joined the robotics team because of his interests in STEM, the challenge it showed, and to get an opportunity to be a part of something that can expose him to robotics. Jacob is also a part of the Academic Team and the Math Honor Society. Outside of robotics, he loves to participate in his local Boy Scouts troop/council, and he plays video games in his free time. After graduating from AHS, Jacob plans to go to college for math or science. Jacob is excited about the upcoming year.

Eric
Parsells

Eric Parsells has been on the robotics team for two years and is a part of the Business sub-team. Eric’s favorite part about robotics is contributing to a team and helping them to succeed. Eric joined the robotics team to better his business skills and gain more experience. He is also a part of the Debate Team, the Academic Team, the Tennis Team, the Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy, and Mock Trial. Outside of robotics, Eric enjoys playing sports, such as football and tennis. After graduating from AHS, Eric wants to major in sports management and minor in Hotel management.

Daniel
Roche

Daniel Roche has been on the robotics team for two years and is a part of the Build sub-team. Daniel’s favorite part about robotics is designing something and seeing it work in real life. He joined the robotics team because he intends on pursuing a career in engineering. Joining the robotics team has helped Daniel come closer to that goal. Daniel is also a part of the Academic Team and the Yearbook Club. Outside of robotics, he enjoys playing video games, CAD, Fantasy Football, and playing basketball. After graduating from AHS, Daniel plans on attending college and majoring in some kind of engineering.

John
Roy

John Roy has been on the robotics team for two years and is on the Programming sub-team. His favorite part about robotics is learning new skills such as programming in Java. John joined the robotics team because it seemed interesting. His hobbies include Chess and Minecraft. After graduating from AHS, John plans on attending college.

Louis
Sandor

Louis Sandor has been on the robotics team for two years and is on the Build sub-team. His favorite part about robotics is working together with his teammates to accomplish goals the entire team has set. Louis joined the robotics team because it seemed interesting to him and it seemed like a great opportunity to learn a lot. Louis also plays soccer for Allentown High School. Louis’s hobbies also include skiing. After graduating from AHS, Louis plans to go to college to get a good education.

Benedetto
Sclafani

Benedetto Sclafani has been on the robotics team for two years and is on the Build sub-team. His favorite part of robotics is being able to contribute to the robot and have continuous things to learn. He also enjoys being able to build and create things. Benedetto joined the robotics team because he was inspired by his father who was a mentor for a robotics team that took part in one of the first robotics competitions. Benedetto was very interested in what his dad did, and he wanted to take the same path. In his free time, Benedetto likes to hang out with his friends. After graduating from AHS, Benedetto plans to pursue a career path in engineering when he gets to college.

Drew
Warfel

Drew Warfel has been on the robotics team for two years and is a part of the Build sub-team. Drew’s favorite part about robotics is building and creating a robot, and learning how it functions. He feels accomplished when he sees the robot work. Drew joined the robotics team because he’s always been interested in creating technology. Drew is also a part of the Math Honor Society. Outside of school, he enjoys hanging out with friends. After graduating from AHS, Drew plans on attending college.
